The film follows the evolving struggle of Ovadia Ben Avraham, who received an eviction order from Amidar, the national housing company in Israel. Ovadia decides to go on hunger strike in front of the company's offices on the coldest day of the year and decides to fight for housing rights together with other activists.

Stop the eviction (2012) is part of a series inspired by Amit Hai Cohen's involvement in activism for social change and housing rights.
